Morning at the Tweed

hey guys me and pinkey went down fishing on tuesday at our secret spot down at the tweed for the morning at 6:30 being two wannabe lure fisherman we decided to try out some lures down there we also brought down some frozen prawns aswell.

we tried hardbodys for a while in one part with no fish so pinkey through out a prawn and brought in a 13 cm bream lol. we then went down river off the banks a bit more using soft plastics and prawns. After about 15mins i had what felt to be a decent bream on the prawn i brought it in and it measured 27cm not bad. after a little while latter pinkey brought in a big 29cm bream on his prawn a nice catch.

We then moved down a bit further having all the fish on bait so after about 10 minutes pinkey was on a again and brought in another bream about 25cm. After a while we were just about to leave when another bream hit i brought it in it measured 25cm.

not a bad days fish the bream tased great to bad for the lures

yeah I am finding myself a lot more successful on live bait than lures lately!

good old tweed it always produces some nice bream I learnt to fish there with my grandfather

persist with the plastics and you will get it as soon as you get a few it all come together
