Trailer Suspension Help

Hey guys im up for replacing the leaf springs on my boat trailer but having a little trouble doing so. I can't seem to find anywhere that stocks the springs that are on my trailer and am almost doubting if they were the right ones installed in the first place.

What is on it at the moment is a 2 leaf setup with an eye at the front and at the back the spring is mounted by a U section of metal clamping over the springs and onto the main frame of the trailer (not sure if that makes sense?. Has anyone seen this type of setup before? It looks like once apon a time it had eye to slipper springs on it, as there is a slipper housing on both sides but i just cant work out why the trailer has the type of system it has now?

Sorry for the babbling i'm just a bit puzzled with they way it's setup now and don't want to order a set of eye-slipper springs if for some reason it's not going to work/fit :S

Sounds like a pretty standard setup for a lot of light duty trailers. The eye holds the spring in place and the flex is just dissipated by the spring flattening out and sliding along uld trailer rail. Often there is e second piece of flat bar welded there as a wear plate.
