I know this is a really old post, but I'm interested to know what kind of fish are in Forest Lake (and are they edible!) Also, would you use lures as opposed to fresh bait? Will take the kiddies down there next time if there are some good catches to be had.

ASorry to dissapoint you.

We did hit it up twice. Fish caught included Eel Tailed catties and Bass.

There is also apparantly a large Tilapia population.

However the 2nd time we were moved on by the Police :pinch:

Due to people illegally releasing Tilapia to catch as food, fishing was totally banned.

Sad but true.
