Cheap way to store rods?

Just saw this in the ALDI catalogue, what do you reckon? Could be handy, even just holding handles of rods?

Reckon you'd be better off making your own with some timber and those rubber rod holder thingies. I've got some lying around if you want them I'm not going to use them.
