Want to catch a bass one day

I see All these awesome threads on bass fishing and I recon it looks like the best fun sort of fishing especially the locations these fish bring you too.

Is there any nearby suburbs which I could catch a bass, because I need to catch one!

The first question I would ask is what suburb do you live in? Secondly, not too many blokes will give away bass spots that are in the suburbs. I would google the topic if I were you, as quite a bit of info is online about bass in creeks and rivers around the place. Pick a river near you and type it in and see what it says. One of the best things about fishing is the exploratory side of it; identifying a likely spot, fishing it, catching fish, and then you have your very own spot that not many others know about.

If you have a yak very slight chance you may fluke one in upper reaches of tingalpa creek but more likely you will get tilapia.

Otherwise your best bet would be up in the albert.

With the amount of Bass that went over the walls over the locals dams in the last 2 years, the headwaters of any local creek is worth a shot,otherwise Hinze dam would be your closest stocked impoundment..
