Offshore Tomorrow 6/5

Anyone heading out tomorrow or been out today? Got told by bill coreton that the amity channel is pretty much unpassable due to the swell, was thinking of going out through the northern channel but have never been up that way in my own boat only charters, I have always done the amity channel. Is the channel very obvious, what is the difficulty compared to the amity as this is the way I am used to.

The bar looked okay today. Amity looked a bit narly but still crossable. I went for a drive in the arvo.Saw a few boats coming back in through the trawller channel.

I was going to cross and have a look outside but it was getting pretty late by the time we got to amity.

going through the northern channel will be ok,just be carefull on the outer banks they can come up on ya pretty quick just spend a few min when your through the main channel and you will see where they are.

I was also looking at going out tomorrow through the northern channel but the swell keeps picking up it's 2.5 to 3.0mtr so i'll give it a miss and have crack inside

Looking to head out from Bribie to north Moreton tomorrow (after a bit of a sleep in) over to Bulwer or maybe Hutchies if it's not too sloppy...

Was a smooth day playing footy today in the sunshine, hoping to get more exercise in the boat than with the ball but hopefully thats not just anchor duties to move out of the swells.

Did anyone head around northern bay today to say how lumpy it was??
