Puzzled for battery

Not sure what battery to get for a minnkota riptide 55lb. There are a lot of different opinions for getting 2 batteries or 1. Only want 1 battery, but strong enough to get me through half a day of trolling. Thanks for everyone that has already given me info, but I would rather get as many opinions as I can before spending a few hundred on a battery. Thinking of a deep cycle battery but not sure whether 100amp will be enough.

A 100 will be pushing to give half a days trolling,especially if there is any wind.

Even a single 120 will be pushing it.

Its a long way to row home if you only have 1 battery and it goes flat.

Deep cycle battery costs are the only down fall of electric motors.
