What is the best software to edit Go Pro footage?

Go some good gear this morning on the water but need to edit out the crap.

Depending on what you want to do, Windows live movie maker is free and really good. Unless you are making a dvd to market I wouldnt bother spending good $ on a better program. Free is good,more money to spend on tackle

Mate I've got Cyberlink PowerDirector 10 for the PC it's rated as one of the best and the download only cost $50 from Madison Avenue! I've never video edited before until recently and I find this program really easy to use and easy to self teach

If you have a Mac just use I movie which most likely is installed already and will do the job, if you want to go all out buy final cut x if you have a PC the options above are great

Sony vegas pro is what everyone in the go-pro circles seems to recommend
