A question for the high end tackle junkies

Hey guys just purchased a morethan branzino 3000 today. Thinking of spooling it up with 20lb daiwa accudepth or 35lb saltiga. The reel is goin to be used for bigger plastics for the river and bay and light offshore.

Question is what rod should match I match it up with.

I was thinking Steez chilli dog or power junkie

I would go the Power Junkie with a 3000 size reel. The Chilli Dog in my opinion would be better suited to a 4000 size reel.

What's your budget for the rod?

A Megabass Racing Condition F5 or higher would suit the reel bling-wise but just need to find the right rod rating.

Power Junkie. rarely put it on the Chilli. Mine actually spends most of its time on a BSR 803 GLX

power junkie!!!! or else abit heavier, go the hot dog, therefore, enough to bash a jack, and with a tough bottom half, its enough to turn the heads of tuna.

Go the Hotdog as the reel will match well and throw the Saltiga braid on it, there would be nothing in the bay you couldn't land with that combo and it would also handle fish offshore.

I've got mine on a powerjunkie, great combo. I use it for exactly the scenarios you mentioned and it does it well. Got mine spooled with 300m of basic sunline pe in 15lb; hasn't seen backing yet even with a few longtails on it.
