We use Avery rods and reels penns and shimano,our hooks are 4/0-6/0 long shanks .

The guys are more than welcome to bring there own rods and tackle.

um shimano what overheads or egg beaters and have they enough for all of us ???? or a limited supply I'd very much doubt they'd have 80w's for all of us but it would be nice:)

I'd be guessing they've got overheads Gaz. Never seen a charter operator with spinners. Would make life too tough for them.

Also, I think they've probably only got a few 80's for when the trolling is on.

Yea I think most charters have Shimano overheads to use. Maybe an Alvey or 2 for the purists. Gaz, surely in that tackle room of yours there is an overhead to spool up and use?

Dont forget to register on the attend event section, especially if you are looking for or offering a ride down to the Mairna.

So far there are spare seats leaving from Ipswich, Forest Lake, Carindale and Tamborine Mountain.

Guys.. Not many days now till the charter and that means even less days to get some money cleared if you still need to pay up.

I will use my own Ugly Stick and no idea what brand of reel, but it hasnt let me down yet and impressed Feral last time out as I had fish back up before he was on the bottom.

But if guys want to put a PREFERENCE in the attend events section I will collate them and send it off to Dennis.

BBQ - Brian D you have local knowledge there? Are there public BBQs in the area we could use after the charter? Either that or we could all lob back onto the balcony at the club and sip martinis?
