Accidental Artificial

Hey guys,

Was just killing some time in front of the glowing panel of knowledge. I found some interesting stuff about the Pacific Adventurer that lost 31 containers and more than 270 tones of fuel oil 12km east of Cape Moreton in 2009.

They should be turning into a nice little Accidental artificil Reef 4 years on.

I remember when it happened I wasn't living here at the time I did see it on the news and thought it was a terrible shame but maybe some good might come of it. It is as reachable as Huchies so I may have found a new spot to try out.

I will expect to see a few BFO stickers out there cuse we dont have AFO ones yet !!or do we ?????

Was told they were 120m deep.

May be a tad hard to drop a bait 120m above on to a container with current.

There are 31 containers so they would cover a big area. The depth on the image is 125m so jigging would be the go. There are GPS coordinates for them in the attacment below the photo. I am keen to give the area a good sounding.

If it is holding a heap of bait that would determine the depth you would have to fish. Worth a look will follow up when I get out there and have a look.
