queensland Easter on Fraser Island

With the extended long week end approaching a few phone calls were made and some plans set in stone.

We decided to take advantage of the barge starting at midnight to get an early run out of the way.

After meeting up at my place we all made our way to get supplies and beer and were on the motorway by 9pm. We got the second barge over to Fraser Island and had the camp set up by 4am.

Now, as some of you know, I like a few beers..

So I really can't remember too much about what order things happened in; but the weather was terrible

Not much going on in the fishingf front, got about 20 large dart on 2.5" Damiki Grubs and 3.5" Gastronomic baits on Saturday, mostly around this size.

It was great weekend with heaps of laughs with good mates and some new ones.

I might, or one of the other boys might.

I've got some pictures of the extended draw bar a bloke had on his trailer towing a 2601 Striper too - Looks easy, I reckon I could make it.

The place they launch is pretty much directly out the front of the waddy pt beach camping..

The very first photo is where they launch just a bit further back from where the photo was taken. some very big boats were getting launched.
