queensland First was skinny, second was fat

The fishing started quite slow at NPD yesterday, but after a few spot changes we located the fish. The first bass caught was quite small and not hugely fat compared to the ones we have been catching lately, but the second fish which Dad caught was a monster!!! :woohoo:

This photo was a bit backlight, but at least it isn't hard to see the size!

Managed a good number of bass! It was hard to keep them under the boat as they kept moving along, which meant we had to keep following them

On the way back, we stopped for a fish at the float, and realised just how big the tree under there is!

Caught fish at lots of different spots.

It was Dad's day yesterday, as he caught a 42cm tagged bass as well :woohoo: The number was T79200.

Someone seems to be going through all of my redclaw pots each week now, as they are busted open and upside down. I think that it's time to change their location!

Can't understand the mentality and lack of respect for others equipment some have. My father had a saying that I have adopted. You can't put brains into idiots. Cleaned it up a bit.

Some great fish there mate. It's a pity your traps were raided by the share farmers. I zip tie my crab pots closed so I know if they have been raided and unfortunately it's an all too common occurrence. Karma will get them though ;-)
