Hey guys,

Selling this electric motor for a mate. I was going to buy it off him but cant afford it at the moment, so told him I will sell it for him. Ive got the exact same model on my boat at the moment, just a bit older. Great motors, very reliable. Pushes my 4m tinny around with ease.

Details- 46lb 12v Motorguide Cable Steer Electric Motor. 5 speed.

Never been used. Comes with Bracket.

Not sure how much these are worth here as Motorguide does not bring in 12v Cable Steer motors anymore. Had a look on ebay and the cheapest I found was $700 landed from the states.

Looking for $600.

Does the FW--FB mean this is a fresh water unit?

Yeh its a freshwater motor, but is fine to use in salt. Ive been using one for 2 years now and its fine. Bought mine 2nd hand so its seen even more use. All you need to add is a anode to it and its fine.
