queensland First bass of the season

hey guys managed to get out for my first crack at bass for the season this afternoon,original plan was to head out in the morning,but couldnt resist the chance to sleep in,ended up heading out at midday so my confidence wasnt really high as i figured id have to work pretty hard to get a hit,,couldnt of been more wrong,managed 10 all up for the afternoon,with the biggest going roughly 42cm,picked one up first cast which got my confidence up pretty quick,i had totally forgotten how hard the little buggers fight haha,still had my set for bream,out of all 10 caught,i pulled 7 of them off the one snag,am pretty sure i landed the same fish twice at one point haha,they all fell to zman grubz fished on a 1/12th head with a tt jigspinner.one of the better seasons ive had in a while and was a great way to open up my account for the season

had another crack at them real early this morning,my hopes where pretty high after the other days session,but struggled all morning only managed the 2 for the morning,with the biggest out the 2 in the low 40s,like the other day they both fell to zman grubz with a tt jigspinner

Well done mate great effort. Still yet to open my bass account for this season. Hopefully will head out on Sunday.
