queensland Condamine river

Im hoping to have a kayak/camp session next year on the Condamine river. Problem being is Ive never been.

So Id love some advise. Wheres a good spot to camp? Ive heard of Archers Crossing? Any one been?

Also, whats the best time of year to head there.

It looks like great fishing country, so very keen to hit it up!

Archers crossing isn't to bad can be very hit and miss prime baits are shrimp for yellas and worms for tandans crays will catch both nice country out there but fishing I have found can be very hot and cold

I have camped at Yarramalong weir a few years ago its near millmerran, quite a nice spot with plenty of trees. Caught a few yellowbelly and some monster Carp in there

A big river, I usually camp on a mates place near Warwick.

Carp are great sport.
