Massive Dolphin Fish

Caught this massive 1.32m 15KG Dolphin Fish off Cape Moreton.

Well done. Haven't seen a big bull like that for years. Moreton Bay Game Fish Club installed the first FAD off the top end of Moreton Island in the 80's and it attracted a heck of a lot of big dolphin fish. Another attraction was to lay out sheets of newspapers to form a shadow area which they like. Good fishing and tight lines. :cheer:

On the way home today, we were hit by a freak wave that completely drenched our boat!!

kept the bilge busy for a while.... :whistle:

atleast we got a few fish!

We caught three of these massive bull's 40KM's off Cape Moreton, WAY past deep tempest. There where SCHOOL'S off them.
