Saturday Arvo got in contact with Jeremy and decided weather was going to be good for the bay to chase some longies and thr chance of a some spotties, even though we hadn't seen any reports of late about the longies its always worth a crack.

The day started off down at the beacons where a few dolphins where working the bait into massive schools. After no success at the beacons we made our way to another spot, first cast with a 5" Zman bubble gum came a small AJ followed by an nice school of Kingies. The surface lures where quickly tied on with Jeremy hooked up as soon as the lure touched the water in came a nice Kingie. Next up was a double hook up with two nice kingies. We ended up landing 4 kingies on the surface before the wind picked up and made it hard to get the lure to work correctly. For the hole morning we ended up boating 11 kingies and 4 AJ's and a few other species in between.

My biggest for the day going 65cm

With the wind picking up did not take me long to get sea sick with no kwells on board so the day was sadly cut short.

Cheers Chris
