Shimano Catana 7ft Soft Plastic

Hey guys, im wondering if any of you know the Retail Price on a Shimano Catana 2-4kg 7ft SoftPlastic rod. I was in a boating store today and it was 39.95. I think this is a good price for the quality of the rod. I remeber seeing somewhere that they were around the 80-100 dollar mark, is this true? I would also like any likes-dislikes from people who have used them.

thats pretty cheap - ive seen the combos for about 150 with a small spin reel... good deal i reckon - your getting fuji guides as well so yeah not bad...

Yeah thats not bad I got the tcklewarehouse combo with a small sienna reel for $90. Good rods to have no problems with bass and have landed some monster flatties on it to.

Is it any good for bait? Because i want to be able to take one rod for bait and lures.

I have one of these rods,i bought it from Tackleworld Southport only 3 weeks ago,it cost $80.Its a nice rod very sensitive,i am waiting for my spare spools to arrive from UK with braid on then were cooking.

Go buy it,you need one.
