Here is a bit more information on the comp, taken from Llyod.

I will be randomly handing out some lures.

For your info, as well as prizes for the following fishing sections:- Fly, junior heaviest carp, junior most carp, senior heaviest carp and senior most carp, we also have a few junior encouragement awards and teen encouragement awards and a lot of giveaways.

Raffle prizes: we have fishing gear for 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Lucky entry prizes:

1st - Kayak to the value of $600 - thanks to Adventure Outlet

2nd - Weekend Farm stay valued at approx $400 - thanks to Michael & Sally Undery

3rd - tackle box full of goodies

Just a quick results update

Thanks to all those that entered the Logan and Albert Fish Management Association’s ( LAFMA ) Carp competition at Wyaralong Dam today.

Entrants including Senior and juniors was 140. The entry fee monies will allow us to purchase around 10,000 bass or around 2500 Mary River Cod fingerlings.

Still raffle ticket monies and food monies to finalise but a great day out.

Around 260 Carp and 75 Tilapia removed from the dam. Biggest Carp @ 4.2kg and Biggest Tilapia @ 1.7kg.

Sounds like a successful event. 140 on entries is a big turn out!

Just need someone to actually raise some cod fingerlings so you can buy them now!

I recon we will get them this year / Early Jan 2015.

Seems Russel has found out what went wrong with his batch so we can only keep our fingers crossed.
