Hinze Western Arm - 19 April 2014

Ray, Tai and I hit Hinze Western arm early. A fairly cool morning with all of us rugged up against the cold. The prawns were a bit hard to find with us getting enough for the day - just.

Tai was into the fish quickly with 3 or 4 on the card before either Ray or I had our first. Mostly around the mid 30's but still great fun. Tai then gave Ray and I a chance to catch up while he cooked up some bacon and sausages to warm us up while we fished - Yum! :)

Had to move a few times with several spots not even producing any bandies. Ray came good with the best Bass of the day at around 43cms. Both Ray and I landed a decent Tandan which I reckon put up a pretty good fight.

As usual, Hinze kept us busy re-rigging with the snags getting their fair share of our hardware.

It was another great day on the water with Ray and Tai. Thanks again to Ray for taking us out.
