American lures working wonders!

After 4 and a half weeks in America it was soooo good to wet a line in NPD again! It started out quite slow with only a few caught trolling but there were plenty of bass showing on the sounder. We decided to put on spot lock and throw around a few lures and on my first cast I caught a nice baby bass on one of my $2.50 tail spinners! After a few more cast the fish condensed right under us and it was fish after fish after fish! 30 minutes later they scattered out again but we were happy with over 40 bass caught there! I only used my American lures today and so far I am very pleased with them! I'm not sure if it was just because the bass hadn't seen them as much or just something to do with the lure but that is all they would hit! I also got a few on my new ice jigs but I tried jackall tn50s, tn60s, spinnerbaits and soft plastics but they wouldn't even touch them :S They didn't even want a blade

Dad was using an Australian lure

It is quite interesting looking. As long as the bass keep scoffing it down I'll be happy

Here's another picture I took today. The dam has really changed since I fished it last! And when I went to tend to my shrimp pots at the end of the session I basically did need a lawnmower to get to them Ray :P:P:P
