Hey guys,

I had a session at shultz yesterday up around toombul/the road bridges after big cod. The cod didn't play but I got 4 bream in the process. Only smallun's but better than nothing.

Then Sam and I hit up the river mouth this morning and caught around 10 nice bream, 3 chopper tailor and 2 decent flatties. Also floated out a live bream after a shark but nothing took it. The bream were caught on squidgy wrigglers, Berkley power minnows and gulp 2\" shrimp. The biggest bream went 30cm to the fork so there was nothing massive but still good fun landbased. Biggest flattie went 50 cm. All fish were caught on 2lb braid(Stren Microfuse - Berkley crystal) - 4lb black magic leader and on 1/24th \" Nitro jigheads.

Fishing North pine this arvo so there should be another report later.

thanks

Double hook-up on bream, one on the left(mine :D) is 30cm to the fork, one on the right(sam's) went 27cm to the fork. 3\" power minnow's got these two. It was really misty early in the morning :P [img size=455]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/Tim_bream_double.JPG

I think you might have dropped your camera in the water :P

Good fish mate.

ahah mate I'd rather not talk about it! well, may aswell... Sam and I went for an \"explore\" as we were getting bored of a constant stream of fish from all the other places. The rest well, the trip included 3 casts, and lots of walking! Alltho we did find a nice looking Toga spot.

i also got a few bream over 30 and a 60cm flathead at that very spot on sunday and i saw swarms of pike which werent interested in the 2inch shrimp i was flickin

I'm almost certain they weren't pike, first of all when we were there we saw screw loads of gar that looked like pike and then theres no such thing as a pike that wouldn't take a 2\" shrimp!!

but then again, I could be wrong. They they just on the surface?
