Hi does anyone know the rules & regs on kayaking lake kurwongbah,

Last i heard you were only allowed on there from sunday till wednesday, is this the case??

And also do you need a permit to go on the dam? if so how do you go about it?

I normally only go salt water but iv'e got my young daughter her own kayak for Christmas & would like her to practice in still water before taking her up the river.

Summer opening time is 5.30am.

Due to presence of noxious weed cabonba please wash down your craft before leaving.

Try trolling some hardbodies or spinner baits and you should pick up a fish.

From experience with young daughter on a kayak, if fishing - go the spinner baits, saves having to extract trebles  from one self
