Decided to have a half and half day out at the dam this morning, half the time on lures and half on shrimp. Result over 60 on shrimp and over 80 on lures which gave me a new PB of 143 bass and one yella on my own. Blind Freddy would be able to get a good score out there at the moment. I used all the shrimp I had which got me to over the 60 mark then I started trolling and jigging.

That's probably more bass than most of us plebs catch in a lifetime! Wow. I reckon jigging would be so fun for them. I want to try it someday. Would beat trolling and bait fishing anyday in my opinion.

Jigging is OK when the bass are around in small schools, it gives you a better chance at them than targeting single bass. I have been getting them on tailspinners,tn50,blades, plastics.
