queensland NPD 21/8/16 And Brisbane River Rockwall

Good evening ladies and gents. 

Fished with Dad (Adam) and Ray on Sunday morning for a total of 61(I think) bass between us. Had an excellent day and my most successful NPD venture to date!! CHEERS RAY. 

I broke the 50cm mark!!!

 

This morning we hit the rock wall at the mouth for a pre uni exam session. Took my mate Jackson out with Tika and got onto a few Squire, pike, bream and a flounder. At one stage I was reeling my bait in, and as it broke the surface boatside it was DEMOLISHED by something, causing a huge splash and many expletives. Fought the unknown species for 5 minutes with a very, very large amount of 8lb line peeling off faster than you could say: holysh*timightactuallycatchthisone. Eventually the hooks pulled which resulted in a few more naughty words. Nevertheless, had a great morning and loving the boat-owner life!

Great bass session mate and always good to pick some squire up. Would love to know (as you would no doubt) what smashed your bait boatside - good reason to go back and try again!!
