Sons Bridge Damage

My son forked out a small fortune to build a bridge, so he could access his property after rain. Didnt count on the amount he got over last few days, way over the bridge. He had to park his ute and walk through 3 properties to get home.

First pic the bridge in flood

Second pic, middle sons cont full of furniture, he had to go to sydney for 2 years, job wise.

Third pic, damage to bridge, rails a tangled mess.

At least the bridge is still there.

I think they are, If the water knocks it off the blocks it could end up anywhere. Before he built the bridge we had the whole family stranded down there a couple of years a go on aust day, we could not get out.

looks like his money was well spent. I am impressed it survived that flow.

Amount he paid for it the builder would have to leave home if it didnt last, I wouldnt want him after me.

Wow, i thought from the first photo the bridge was where the wooden rails are, is that the Gold Coast Hinterland?

Wow thats a lot of water! glad the bridge is still standing and everyone is ok.
