When I returned to the ramp I was joined for the walk up to the car by a scrub turkey.He was half a meter beside me all the way, before I left I gave him some dog pellets, which he gobbled up and lookedat me for more.

On the fishing side I managed 35 bass and 3 yellas all on spinnerbaits casting.Now paying the price for to much standing up in the boat with my new knee.

Those turkeys can have no fear. I saw one walking along the footpath on Ipswich Rd the other day.

Is the knee better than it was ?

If you are looking for more friends @Dinodadog you could find an army of them around my place. Maybe you could round them all up and take them to join your new mate. I definitely wouldn’t miss them. Take the possums at the same time.

Yeah its slowly improving 5 months next week, still gets sore when on uneven ground or standing or walking to long. Just like to have a whinge makes me feel better

I already have one , havnt been game enough to get back on it yet, they are a little wobbly.

I just move my seat to the insert on the front casting platform.

Tried on of those stand up ones and just not confortable enough.

They were on special a few months back so I grabbed one as I am doing a lot of casting. Where the upright axle goes into the floor receiver is where its a little wobbly, I fix this by placing both feet on the cross thwart seat in front of me.

I'm lucky, my seat insert is a full size tube going in almost a foot so quite stable.

Hopefully on the water Friday.
