I arrived at the western arm at what i thought was a bright and early time of 5.10 to find that 5 other boats had already launched. We headed to the coke can where plenty of fish were showing on the sounder but the barred grunter were also thick and stealing our scarce shrimp. Because the shrimp were scarce I just sat back and gave constructive advice.. We then moved to one of our o;d spots for the same result. so off exploring we went for not even a barred grunter so back to the coke can where we finished up with 65 bass and no bait. Bao was happy with his first freshwater trip.

Good numbers after a slow start, Ray. The bass look solid compared to Dino's the other day.

Must admit I did not take photos of the little ones a bass is a bass irrespective of the size probably around half of the fish boated today would have been under 30cm but all healthy looking. Best part of the day was seeing Bao catching his first bass, showing him how to handle it and even demonstrating how to break off a snagged hook.
