Anybody thinking of going out to NPD make sure you have snake repellant.

The grass at Forgans and between Forgans and Bullocky is over 6ft high.

I managed 1 bass [yes that is 1 only] from Forgans on Thurs arvo.

There are no tracks in the grass so you have to make your own,very scary.

I'll try the wall end next week after I finish getting all the ticks off me.

That's commitment. back when there were paths I was wearing those lower leg guard things. Really don't want to get bitten by a Brown and have to walk all the way back up that hill.

Yeh the snakes are out and about thats for sure. I almost walked over the top of a 3m+ python out at McGavins View a few months back. Just the other day I was fishing down at Shultz and had a real close encounter with a 1.5m Red Belly Black Snake too. So keep an eye out guys!

Thats a bit silly Dino - you should have posted that the fish were going off at Forgans, would have been some nice tracks for you to follow by the end of the weekend!

I had a close encounter with the slithering kind near the pipeline at NP dam last week, big black snake decided to get in the way, The growth is ridiculous out there at the moment.

What I did fail to mention was that when I did find my way to the water,I thought my eyes were playing tricks as there was an area 3mx3m with another 2 areas on either side a metre back from the water had been whipper snipped. Bloody keen

I actually saw the blokes that did that a couple of days ago. Was bludging off from my graduation paper and saw three of them coming back, whipper snipper being carried by the youngest bloke of course- It didn't look like any of them would've been over 16.

Good on them for the initiative and helping to make the public access areas, areas that the public can access.
