Deep water bend king tides

Took myself and 5 junior fisherman, all under 7, to deep water bend for a spot of fishing this morning. Long story short if undersized bream were our target we nailed it! (Reason this is in outdoors and not saltwater fishing). Anyway what made it memorable was seeing how high the king tides came in, just kept getting higher, we baled before the main road was unpassable. Thought I'd share couple of pics. 1st pic was exit of boat ramp, 2nd is before Bruce highway over pass.

I wonder if the ex cyclone Seth surge has anything to do with it.

I'm guessing so, heard the sames happening in Hervey bay and also the top of bribie has washed away.

I reckon in the short term I'd be wetting a line around there if I lived close. Surely the whiting would be (and baitfish) would be hanging around looking for dislodged food, and in turn bigger fish as well.

Wowza! That’s high as! I know the Colmslie Ramp has been flooding recently too.

I can’t imagine much would be around with all the fresh.
