queensland Deadstick did the trick

Hi guys,
Fished the Broadwater on the high tide change today. Water still a bit dirty until the clean water pushed in. Didn't affect the fishing.
Got my first squire about 30 secs on my first drift and each drift had some sort of action. Missed a few but ended with 3 squire and a nice GT all on 4lb deadstick 2" grub. Good fun.

Nice work. That's a small plastic for the target species.

I like the deadsticking method too. I did the same today with less than favourable results - one large whiptail.

The GT would have been fun on 4lb. Did you have it for dinner ?

Good fun for sure was down to backing twice and had to chase him down in the strong current. 

I release everything inshore except the odd flatly. Nice snap or Jew offshore though...
