Mariner Electric Start Conversion.

Cheapest option is to use second hand componets so ring around the wreckers. My first choice to try would be Southside Outboard Wreckers in Glasson Drive Bethania 38058595. Prices are reasonable and they can fit it for you also. Fitting prices are also very reasonable compared to $75 per hour which most dealers seem to be charging nowdays.

Cheers

let us know how you get on I am thinking of either converting my new suzy 40 to elec start or selling it and buying a second hand motor with it fitted.

I am also looking for trim tilt conversion. SO would be interested on the price you get yours for.

cheers

I have a 1988 Mariner 40 hp 2cyl with manual start. Does anyone know how much a starter and ring gear would cost, and whether it would be a worthwhile conversion.

Thanks
