Hey guys ,heard all about these bull sharks in the brissy river,now keen to catch some of them,where abouts is Colleges Crossing as ive heard its a good place to start,Any other good places????ive tried the mouth of becky creek,but only caught catfish which i put out as lives,but no luck,,i have 18 foot boat,so can go most places,based at brissy,have also tried the mouth of the river,bout only stingrays and shovelnoses,,any help would be great....I dont intend to kill them ,just catch and release THANKS GUYS

try kookaburra park mate better then colleges i reckon. im suprised you didnt hook up at the mouth, also jindalee there is ome good shark spots too.

bony bream and mullet (live) work a treat what size hooks do you use etc. bait doesnt need to be massive either

i was just up river from jinda's yesterday with anth tryign for a shark out of teh yaks, no touches from 4-7pm.

the water was so fresh i think it turned fishing off.

note, this was on run out tide, run in might be better

Ausswi I think you might have missed your window for sharking this year. There is still a chance if you persist, but you might be better off targeting easier critters to catch untill November.

yeah with this fresh and late in season your going to find it tuff i think

Yeah it will be tough this far into the season. But in saying that I have still seen the odd one caught in winter. Give it a crack, you have no shot if you dont have a line in the water

the river's too fresh atm but u may get a good chance fishing somewhere around the mouth

If you have a canoe / yak, there is some reasonable water upstream from Colleges for throwing lures for natives too.

Mate, if you go in november to feb, you can get dozens of sharks in the river, there realy easy to catch at those times, we were catching them on prawns, pillies, catties and mullet.

yeh ive taken a few on live prawns, even on a bit of left over threaddie.they love it

actually comes off 17 mile rocks road.

(behind the macdonalds on centenary highway @ jindalee exit.
