sandgate jetty

Hi all , hope easter went well for everyone. Anyway i'm going fishing to sandgate jetty tonight..never been before , has anyone got any tips,info,etc on the place? would be greatly appreciated, i'm hoping to get some nice bream with any luck.

use very very light line with small hook tiny sinker if you can. best bait's mullet,pilly and herring. simply pitch under the pontoon and ...

if your going to sandgate,should chek out around the trawlers.good brean and flatties around there

geez mate, keener than me! fishing the sandgate jetty in this 400kn SE will be a bit of fun!

yeah im gonna be drunk watching the footy instead of gettin wind burn lol but thats generally me every friday once footy starts lol

a s/e works well for getting shark lines out from the end of the jetty try going to the end zip tie a large mullet to the hook hook to suit and drift the bait out under a couple of baloons about 200 metres south east should put you near a bit of a trench the sharks follow it

or the trawlers work very well for bream flatties cod etc

at the boat ramp where the 2 rivers meet is one of my favourite spots good oin a droppin tide

or the opposite side if you have a boat just in front of the bird hut is some great rocks the other side of the river has a good rubble patch good on an incoming

Thanks for the info guys, but i spent all of 5 minutes there , enough wind to blow a dog off a chain. hoping to get there once this wind settles, i'll keep ya's posted...
