queensland Newstead Park This Evening 7/5/08

Hellooo

well went down last night and got there at around 6:20. Damn traffic.

Walked towards the pontoon while getting my gear ready and saw a few blokes down there cast netting. Wasn't sure if they were from AFO so didn't get down there to say g'day. If you were there I was the dude under the light tying on a lure.

Anyway, went for a quick cast at off the wlakway and 3rd cast in got a bream. :laugh: woot. Cast for around half an hour for a couple more touches and that was it.

Got to meet Jordan (a smartly dressed escort I thought:laugh: ) and g/f?? amy??. Good to finally meet ya mate.

Left at 7:20 to get home to the missus.

haha nice to meet you to mate, your a funny bugger. i diddnt even see anyone else get anything and i was there for a fair while. caught up with mick terry and kriso as well after they had finished there bait sesion but i left jsut as they started flicking some hb's

did anyone see the homeless guy with a laptop? thought that was amusing lol

i got a few hits but fishing was very very hard with the water brown like black coffee

Yeah, Kev and I did much better when we hit the threadfin at spot X afterwards. He made me promise not to post photos though so that Dan wouldn't get angry.
