Scarbrough reef

Hi guys, just got a beacon to beacon and found scarbrough reef. Any tips for fishing it, is there any exposed reef on the low tide and has anyone had much luck there on plastics?

I know some yakkers from another site get alright snapper there in shallow water

Do you know if they are using plastics or bait, yackers love thier lures and plastics, makes life a bit easier. Seeing as Ive never been out there I wanted to try and get a bit of info so I can go prepared and not waste a trip. Looks like it wont be this week though, 15 knots all week!!
