Mate the marathon went off well. We had a good number of boats race on the Saturday on the short course and then even more boats come out for the marathon event on the Sunday.

It rained for about 4 hours steady on Sat 2a - 6a and this made all the bottom section boggy with several vehicles getting stuck. (The good ol' Navara did its stuff with a snatch strap in freeing them). Its good to see how the water was seeping out of the ground in the bottom section where it must sink in at the top and then run subsurface to re emerge again after hitting the water table.

Was going to stay Sunday night there but broke some rigging early on in the race on sunday and had to pull out which gave me a clear 2 hours to pack up and head home early.
