Smith Rods.

Just wondering has anyone seen or heard about Smith Rods?

I'm very interested in the "Area" rod made by Smith Rods it's a tiny 4'3" long and would make a perfect tight country bass rod.

Also comes in a trigger grip for baitcasters and the standard spinning reel setup.

Any info welcome?

rods that short are generally used of deep jigging applications offshore.

edit: but they are usually a lot heavier than whatever weight these ones sound to be.

the lighter versions are made for trout. I reckon it would go well in small creeks, kinda like small trout streams.
