ATT: Brisbane Fishing Members!

Gday to all our members and speficially those competing in the Brisbane River Classic.

Just a quick question to you all. Does anyone by any chance have a spare portable radio that the officials may use at the Comslie Recreation Reserve on the 1st 2nd & 3rd of December?

Or would anyone know of anyone that might possibly be willing to loan one?

Any and all help tracking a loaner down would be most appreciated.

Hey what type just a uhf or a marine...

I have two hand held UHF (non marine channels).

Thanks to Brian Dawson who has sorted out a pair of VHF radios for the event. One for the weigh In Station and one for the Rescue Boat.

I can't get to Colmslie until about 6.30pm on Friday.

If you need em before then I am happy to meet you somewhere and hand them over before Friday?

Maybe I could get my briefing for the comp at the same time so I can Fish Friday Night.

Angus - don't Karma me but I just went to charge up the Radios for you this morning and I noticed that they are not a marine band but just a uhf with 40 chanels.

This is not what I was told - but they are waterproof.
