i am guessing that he was after cod in that part of nsw. on my last hunting trip i came across a set line in the balonne river consisting of 50m of rope, and every 5m they had a oil bottle tied of and a 1-2m dropper with a big circle hook on it. now i dont no exactly where this came from as it was all tangled and they did have floods out their, but it goes to show you this sort of thing happens more that we no.

I know our fisheries officer are hamstrung by captian bligh. it would be nice to see more reports of this thing happening here in QLD the fisheries would of made a fortune the last 2 weekends that I know of over at dunitch with the white bucket mob up grading to boats.(4 of them mored together and taking nilly every thing that hit the deck of the boats
