had the morning off work so went down the road to bulimba creek for a bit of a fish. I was flicking little soft plastics with no real expectation. I was very surprised to get this lil jewie. good fun on light gear. released it as usual.

Top work mate. The surprises are an extra bonus tha keeps us fishing. Love the colors and look of the jewfish, such a great fish to see emrge from the depths and into the net

thanks all. Was actualy my first jewie so im chuffd. was using a 3inch berkley pepper prawn with a 1/4jighead. Its good to know that i only need to travel a few mins from home to get good fish.

Nice fish there mate. First are always good mate but when they are out of the blue it's even better.

There has definitely been a few jewies caught in the Brissy area lately. May have to get involved.
