Advantage 1500-2000

Shrimpo

Recommended Posts

$269 at both Campbells and MO tackle . Go to our sponsors Anaconda Logan and they will beat it by 10%.

You can get it a bit cheaper in the states but the poor exchage rate and high post charges makes it hardly worth it.

I just found this pflueger that i think looks ok but im a bit worried about the magnesium body, they dont say anything about saltwater use but i always though magneusium shouldnt be taken near the salt water?

The Pflueger looks pretty good shrimpo, just looking at my 07/08 Pflueger catalogue, and the Supreme was the top of the range spinning reel. It says in the description that:

"The Supreme MG series is set to take the light spin scene by storm, the 8030 sized reel is perfectly suited to trout, bream & bass, while the 8035 and 8040's lend themselves to fishing plastics for snapper and other inshore sportsfish."

So I guess that is implying that it is ok for saltwater use? Maybe someone else may know better about magnesium & saltwater.

Cheers,

Matt
