queensland Yellas at NPD

Got into a few yellas out at NPD this morning, tried forgans 1st for zilch, then bullockies for I yella for me and a bass for the mate. We then slipped over to macgavins for a few more yellas and another bass to the mate. Most fish were caught on gold vortex s/baits.

with all this fresh the dams levels should be prime for fishing.

Kiwifisher wont be long, hang in there

Brisfisher didnt take the brag mat but there were 2 that were bigger than the others,between 48 and 52

Flattycatcher only trouble is with more water the fish are further apart:P

It seems that captures of yellas are far more common at the moment than bass...is it a warm weather thing? or the rising levels?

At times in months past it was all bass with the occasional yella, now it's the opposite.

Rocket my guess is with the rising levels and as its not mating time they have headed up the dam to newly grassed areas. There are still bass scattered about though just got to work harder to get them. Got some mon and today.

Nice yellas again, some very sleek looking fish there. Will always have a soft spot for yellas I reckon.
