Sunshine Coast Pippis

As stated in the title, does anyone have any good spots for pippis on the sunshine coast that doesnt require a 4wd to access. I'll be taking the 2yo and the mrs so it'll be nice if its also a family friendly area. We wont be taking much as we are not really fans of pippis, its just something to do while our weeklong holiday up there.

Also, besides the zoo, fishing, beach and underwater world, is there anything else to do?

Try kawana to currumundi stretch for pippies, otherwise just lay back and enjoy the lifestyle!

as far as other stuff to do there is always the barra park...

also, many very scenic drives in the hinterland and places to picnic and alike.

pippies - sunshine beach on the south end of noosa heads national park before the nudie beach, always plenty there, try and be there on half or low tide.

but in saying that, if you going to go to the effort of getting pippies, you might as well get beach worms instead.

thanks guys.. i'll give those spots a try. I'm not sure about the barra park tho.. i've thought about it and from the reports, it seems like it takes a lot of effort to catch one and i dont want the loved ones to burn in the sun while i fish.

A drive into the hinterland is always good value lots of shopping and food in Montville and then go for a drive down to Baroon pocket dam for a relaxed picnic and plenty of spangled perch for the younguns to catch from the bank.
