hey guys was wondering if blue groper (wrasse) and protected and if not anyone know size and bag?

sweet thanks. i really think that limit is too small same with parrot.25 is not worth keepin and they such a pretty little fish at that size.

we dont see them up here very much they are a coldwater species

oh ok thanks jeff i seen alot when i scuba cook island,thought if i see one spearing 2morrow i better find out about size and bag b4 i shoot.i prob miss anyways haha

the dopey things are an easy target with a spear the way they just cruise off so slow,thats how they nearly got wiped out in the 60's and 70's when sperafishing was a competetive sport.

good to hear the population around cook has come back, there weren,t many left there by 1980
