Clarence river fishing

Hey guys

Was just speaking to parents and apparently they have organised a holiday in Yamba right next to the Clarence river :cheer: , were staying in cabans basically a few metres from the water, cant wait! :cheer: .

Were going in 3 weeks for 3 days, should be awesome.

Anyone fished there much? any advice would be awesome

the clarence river is just awesome for fishing, night rock breakwall bream galore, just prawns will do on the rougher of the 2 sides. always flick sp's around the river just tons of flattie at least 1in 20 casts keep walking down stream, if you have a boat very early morning live mullet and sp's will get you a jew or 2 around the various bridges that cross at around 4am-5am. and the sunken rock wall (cant miss it ) during the day is also good spot for big bream and plenty of ludrick

Just got back from a weeks fishing on the Clarence :woohoo:

If you jump on "norhcoast fishing nsw .com.au" NCF there are pleanty of tips for fishing that area. Lots of big bream & flatties to be caught landbased.
