queensland pine rivers big bream

Went fishing today with a mate at the pine river(in a secret spot). We were using sx40s in two shades. The morning started off slow with a few hits but nothing much as the tide was dead. moved spots to my new favourite spot, second cast in my drag starts running out with the amazement of me. Brang a huge 45cm bream in after a few minutes(safely released). It was getting way to hot so decided to head on home.

8 LB Fireline braid was the main line with a 10lb Braid leader, So i was fishing reasonably heavy but it was the best fight i have ever had at the river.

yeh im positve i always do wen im using lures. its the opposite if im usin bait mono is the way chasin toothy criters

Excellent bream looks like what we used to call a 4pounder. Used to catch quite a few at the sunken wall and luggage point this time of the year.
