Was down at the Spit today with my little fella. Saw these two blokes spinning with small metal slugs off the rocks as you turn left at the end of the road. It looked to me like they were pulling in mack tuna and were catching quite a few. One of those days when you wish you had your rod with you . There must have been heaps of them there.

yeah I was there yesterday spinning little Maniacs (i think they're 5gm??) on the beach to the left of the rocks where it turns into a beach. Report to come soon. Awesome fun.

It was early arvo that I saw them. They may have been there since the morning. Looked as they may have fished tides. I will try to go down this weekend and see what luck I have.
