queensland Woody Point Jetty

Went for a bit of a fish of the jetty at Woody Point last Friday night after spending the day helping my ma out at Deception Bay.

Water resembled some kinda vegetable soup for the first hour or two with huge peices of plant floating around.

Stuck with it and ended up with 6 undersized bream and a puffer fish.

Wasn't the greatest result but after the last 6 trips to various places for a result of zilch I was pretty happy.

My girlfriends Dutch and has been on all the previous trips but is away travelling for a few weeks.....she was pretty disapointed ...even more so after I told her she couldn't come anymore as she's bad luck ^^

it's always good to catch something, even if they are little it's better than nothin

True....catching small fish is better than catching nothing.....I have six trips of nothing to compare it to ^^

I find usually having girls along is good luck..... alot of the time they will outfish the guys...

speaking of bad luck, i recently had to retire an Abu cap as i finally figured out that whenever i wore it i never caught fish! First fish without it and i was back in the game....
